The 2024/25 Image of the Year competition was held at the Courtenay Centre on Tuesday 15th April. Unlike most other comps, the winners are selected by popular vote by club members.
Images entered must already have been entered into one of our competitions during the current season, but can have been re-worked, based on comments from judges etc. There are three categories:
DPI Image of the Year [one that is not printed, but viewed via a digital projector]
Colour Print of the Year
Monochrome Print of the Year
Members are given a score sheet and asked to indicate their three favourite images from each category on display. The votes are counted and the winners announced. For this season, the results are a tad unusual, with 3 images selected for first place in the DPI category! Here are the results:
